Community Events Coordinator
As part of our Community Engagement team, you will plan, promote, and coordinate an established calendar of events that align with our mission. This role requires exceptional organization and communication and a passion for creating engaging, mission-driven events. Your work will assist in achieving our organization's combined membership and philanthropy goal of $3M by supporting engagement and stewardship activities designed to deepen relationships across our community. DEvelopment Officer
The Mountaineers is seeking a relationship- and community-oriented Development Officer to lead and grow our individual giving fundraising programs with a strategic focus on major gifts. Joining a growing Community Engagement Team you’ll play a key role in achieving the organization’s $3M combined philanthropy ($2M) and membership ($950K) goal. To help our team reach this shared goal, you will be responsible for soliciting major gifts, bequest commitments, and deepening donor engagement with The Mountaineers strategic priorities. Information technology & data specialist
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT & Data Specialist to provide comprehensive support for our organization's technology infrastructure and data management needs. The IT & Data Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems, providing first-level support for staff computer-related issues and managing IT consultants and software licenses. They will also support our efforts to deepen our ability to support data analysis and reporting for staff and volunteers, including utilizing data from Acumatica and Salesforce to help us make strategic, data-informed decisions. SEasonal Opportunities At The Mountaineers
Residential Camp Program Instructor
The Residential Camp Program Instructor provides positive, valuable, and safe experiences for Mountaineers campers on residential trips. They are directly responsible for the daily supervision of the group and teaching a variety of outdoor skills and curriculum. They will prepare for each camp, including itinerary planning and gear organization, and cleaning up after each camp. The Residential Camp Program Instructor should excel at spreading stoke and inspiring confidence in outdoor settings through personal connection and group facilitation. They will work collaboratively with other camp staff to create an inclusive and welcoming camp environment. Mountaineers lodge camps run weekly from mid-June through mid-August at The Mountaineers Baker, Meany, and Stevens Lodges. Learn more and apply.
Seattle Day Camp Program Instructor
Program Instructors play the most important role in supplying a positive, valuable, safe experience for Mountaineers summer campers. They are directly responsible for the daily supervision of a group of 8-12 campers ranging in age from 6-12. They design and teach varying outdoor curriculum, including first aid, navigation, and safe methods of recreating outdoors. They will work collaboratively with other camp staff and CITs to create an inclusive and engaging camp environment. Learn more and apply.

The Mountaineers was formed in 1906 to explore the wild areas and peaks in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. With nearly 16,000 members and branches from Olympia to Bellingham, The Mountaineers enjoys an outstanding reputation in its field and in the community.
