This class satisfies requirements for Basic Climbing, Alpine Scrambles, and Leadership courses. The MOFA certificate is good for three years. MOFA builds prevention and basic first aid skills using the Seven Steps and Medic First Aid to help you effectively respond to trail emergencies with the gear you carry. Hands-on outdoor practice with your gear is a key part of the class. You'll respond to scenarios based on actual mountaineering incidents and instructor experiences.
