Olympic Natl Forest HQ Black Lake

Pleasant hike on moderately graded trail through lush forest with lots of old growth trees. Our destination is a beautiful sub-alpine lake formed by a massive rock slide 5000 years ago. Be ready for snow or rain. Northwest Forest Pass or equivalent required to park at trailhead.

Will go rain, snow, or shine, so be prepared to get wet. May need traction device for snow on trail. Priority given to Oly Wilderness Skills students. Sign-up online, but please email me at nanlloy@gmail.com
