Dosewallips Beach Parking Lot

Take 101 South to Brinnon. The parking area for the Beach is the last left before the Dosewallips River Bridge. Discover Pass is required. Washington State Clamming license ($16.30) is required to harvest shellfish.

Co-lead with Carolyn and Bruce Appleton. We will be harvesting clams and oysters at a minus tide, exploring the beach and bird life, and taking a short hike in Dosewallips State Park to observe a Rough-Skinned Newt breeding pond. The same activity will be available on May 17 & May 18. Instructions and equipment needs will be provided to participants by the leader. Clamming License and Discover Pass are mandatory. Your limit of clams is guaranteed!
