Aches, pains and aging, oh my!

This seminar offers proven training strategies for the over-50 alpine crowd, whether you have questions about suitable recovery or simply how to train smarter, rather than harder.

Learn how to add targeted mountaineering-related stretches and strength movements that you can perform anywhere. Identify what your aerobic and anaerobic training zones are and how frequently to train for optimal recovery and performance.

We will help answer your questions on how to get the most from your training regimen, whether you have concerns about cardiovascular, strength, or flexibility training.

Climb leaders Courtenay and Doug Schurman have been working with mountaineering athletes since 1997 through their outdoor conditioning coaching business, . They are authors of the Train to Climb Mt. Rainier training DVD and The Outdoor Athlete (2009).

Registration is not required for this activity. Please see Description or Leader Notes for more information.
