As we approach the last moments of 2020, I’d like to invite you to join in a New Year’s Eve toast. With three days left on the tax-calendar, members and donors like you rose to the challenge and helped us meet our $100,000 December goal to protect our core Mountaineers operations. Your commitment to our community continues to be a bright light through one of the darkest years we’ve ever experienced.
If you’ve been meaning to join this group of supporters by contributing to our year-end campaign, you have three more days to submit your tax-deductible gift.
While this year-end accomplishment is certainly worth celebrating, it is just one stop along the way to our $1,200,000 annual fundraising goal. In a year when program revenues will be down over 40%, we are relying on gifts of philanthropy to sustain our organization’s mission-driving programs. Your financial support through charitable donations, as well as memberships, book purchases, and public events, are crucial to ensuring our doors stay open and our community remains supported while we navigate safely re-opening all operations.
- Your gift today supports people, like scholarship recipients, across all seven branches and the volunteer leaders who make our programming possible.
- Your gift protects places like North Cascades National Park and The Alpine Lake Wilderness through advocacy for public lands protection. These programs enable Mountaineers members to get outside and recreate every single day of the year.
