Ever wondered how you'd fare if you got lost in the mountains? Or how you'd stay safe during a zombie apocalypse?
Campers ages 6-10 are invited to come to a week packed with traditional camp games, songs and a heavy dose of outdoor adventure. Each week consists of exploring the local area, basic outdoor skills, low impact recreational practices, crafts, and swimming! Additionally, every week has a field trip, special activity, and/or outdoor adventures relating to the given theme.
During Survivor Week, campers will learn basic skills for wilderness survival including navigation, first aid, shelter building, tracking animals, and more! This week will feature a field trip to Seattle Mountain Rescue's center in North Bend for a presentation from the volunteer-run search and rescue crews on keeping yourself safe in the outdoors and how to respond to emergencies.
