The Mountaineers Tacoma Program Center, located in historic Old Town, overlooking Commencement Bay. Our newly renovated facility has three rooms available for outside rentals to local businesses, government agencies, nonprofit organizations and the general public for meetings, training sessions, and other social events. Parking
Parking is available in a public lot on North 30th at North Carr Streets, on North 30th Street, and on side streets.

2024 Update: Tacoma Program Center Net Zero Project

In Summer 2024, the Carbon Footprint Reduction Committee celebrated the completion of the final phase of the Tacoma Program Center Net Zero Project - solar panel and battery back-up installation. The TPC is now a net zero plus energy facility - producing and storing more energy than it consumes. Learn more about the project in this video from project partner Artisan Electric.

This project was made possible with funding support from Mountaineers members and the Solar plus Storage for Resilient Communities grant from the Washington State Department of Commerce with funding from Washington’s Climate Commitment Act. The CCA supports Washington’s climate action efforts by putting cap-and-invest dollars to work reducing climate pollution, creating jobs, and improving public health. The Great Hall

Suitable for larger gatherings with adjoining caterer food staging area with modest kitchen facilities; seats 85 people theater style, 64 to 80 for banquet seating; up to 150 for a reception; 12 banquet tables (8’ x 30") & 120 chairs available.

Classroom

Suitable for classroom training; seats about 30 at tables or 42 theater style plus 9’ x 18’ table/lectern area; coffee & hot water access; 12 training tables (70" x 20") and 40 chairs available.
