Skiing/Riding Skills Improvement

Multi-week ski/board improvement series at The Summit at Snoqualmie. Uphill and downhill sessions!

**This class is offered by The Summit at Snoqualmie SnowSports School and taught by  instructors from The Summit at Snoqualmie SnowSports School.  Discounted group pricing is available for members of The Mountaineers. Multi-week SKI/SNOWBOARD Lessons

Join us!  We are one of the the oldest and largest back-country focused ski instruction program in the Northwest if not the United States.  We offer a multi-week series with the focus on ski/riding  skills improvements.  We teach skills that work in the back-country. Free-heel or fixed heel, or wide board - all are welcome! Enjoy a mid-week break. Learn new techniques. Enhance old ones.

Wednesday nights are often uncrowded.  With Summit West closed Monday-Wednesday until 4:30pm, we often get fresh tracks on Wednesday evenings. We organize  classes  by ability level and discipline.  There are separate groups and levels for A/T and for Telemark and Snowboarders. For 2022 we welcome snowboarders seeking to improve their skills.  Your instructors  have years of back-country experience, as well as current teaching skills for downhill instruction.

We also offer an UpHill Session for folks wanting to learn/practice skinning up skills.

All skill levels are welcome for both A/T and Tele.  For all participants,  we assume you know how to ride a chairlift safely.  (If you are truly a Never-Ever, please contact me before signing up!).

For the Uphill portion, we assume you can ski/ride well enough to get back down beginner slopes safely.
