We will meet at the parking lot off of Mt. Constitution Road at 9:00am.
Here's a map of Moran State Park with a magenta star showing the parking lot where we'll meet.
From the trailhead, signs will direct us to the left on the hiker-only trail where we can connect to Cascade Falls, Rustic Falls, Cavern Falls, and Hidden Falls.
After just .1 mile, we will reach another sign. This one will tell us that Rustic Falls is straight ahead (we'll do this one first), and we can see it from the trail. Cascade Falls is to the right, and Cavern and Hidden Falls are to the left.
We will return to the sign post and continue left to follow Cascade Creek until we reach the top of the falls. We can carefully peer over the edge and see the falls from above.
Descend to the side and there is access to two viewpoints. The upper viewpoint is great for viewing, but tree branches and shadows might make photos somewhat difficult. The lower viewpoint trail crosses the creek on a bridge relatively far from the base of the falls. Cross the bridge and you can carefully make your way along the side of the ravine to get a closer look.
After Cascade Falls, we return to the sign post and go straight to Cavern, then hidden falls.
We'll probably spend 30 minutes at each of the waterfalls, but will spend closer to an hour at Cascade Falls (the highest on Orcas Island).
Here's a map I created of the trail and waterfalls locations.
Note: I will be camping at Moran State Park on the 22nd.
