This is an easy hike that is geared towards slow hikers and those needing frequent rest breaks.
The trail is fairy flat, but there are puddles and some uneven spots in places inside the tunnel.
From the parking lot to the picnic tables (other side of tunnel) and back is roughly 5.4 miles.
You will need a headlamp and layers as its quite chilly and breezy inside the tunnel.
Bring water and a snack for our break at the end of the tunnel, before walking back to the trailhead.
