Adventure Speaker Series: Leslie Romer - Lost Fire Lookouts, Hikes and Histories: Olympic Peninsula and Willapa Hills

Local Mountaineer, Leslie Romer, has been hunting and discovering the locations of fire lookout sites in the Northwest and Southwest US for twenty years. She has hiked to almost every fire lookout site between the Strait of Juan de Fuca to the Columbia River.

Leslie will share her favorite adventure hikes in this coastal region with us through pictures and stories. Copies of her book, Lost Fire Lookout Hikes and Histories: Olympic Peninsula and Willapa Hills, will be available.

Please RSVP for each Speaker Series event you and your guest plan to attend.  Non-members are welcome to sign up as a guest.

Meeting changes are possible. RSVP to receive an update of any meeting changes. 

No food or drink will be served

  • Doors open at 6:00pm with opportunity for socializing and to pick up information about Mountaineers courses and activities.
  • Speaker begins promptly at 7:00pm. Arrive early for parking and seating.
  • Doors will remain open for proper ventilation, dress accordingly 

Masking requirements will be in compliance with CDC and State and Local Guidelines in place at the time of each event.
