This badge represents the successful completion of the QYL: Youth In Adult Programs training.
WHAT DOES THIS BADGE ALLOW ME TO DO?
This badge allows you to lead adult trips and activities that have youth enrolled in the course for The Mountaineers.
HOW DO I GET THIS BADGE?
You must first become a Qualified Youth Leader, read our Youth In Adult Programs Handbook, pass a short quiz that allows you to demonstrate your understanding of our policies. Please note that this badge expires after 3 years. To renew this badge you will need to retake the Qualified Youth Leader training for Youth in Adult Programs and resubmit for a background check.
Note: In the event that your background check uncovers an incident that would make you ineligible to work with youth, we will contact you directly, and you simply will not receive a badge. We will not make this information public.
