Intermediate Backpacking General Information Session - Online Classroom

7:00pm - 8:00pm via Zoom.

Zoom info will be sent to participants the evening before the seminar.

New for 2023, Intermediate Backpacking is being offered by Seattle Backpacking as a pilot program for intermediate and advanced backpackers who want to go on trips that are more adventurous, more technical, or more committing than backpacking trips that are typically offered by The Mountaineers. 

Because this is a new program for 2023, we are holding some optional information sessions to provide more details about the program and to answer questions.  They are intended as a resource for people who may want more information before deciding whether they want to join the Intermediate Backpacking community, go on Intermediate Backpacking trips, or participate in Intermediate Backpacking classes. 

This is the General Information Session for  people who would join in order to be involved as a trip participants.

We are also offering two Leader Information Sessions on January 12 and January 17 for current and near-future Mountaineers trip leaders who may want to lead Intermediate Backpacking trips.
