Presenter info
Dexter has been climbing for over a decade, and leading discussions on fear for the last 5 years. Dex's coaching is rooted in building a positive relationship with fear; practicing acceptance over avoidance and curiosity over judgment. Dexter focuses on fear management through a process of identification, assessment and application, or, as he likes to say: Ponder, Practice, Perform. In his teaching, Dexter facilitates a safe space for his clients to identify patterns in their lives, so they may leave behind what holds them back and commit to what moves them forward.
In addition to fear coaching, Dexter is also a sought-after keynote speaker, known for his engaging and insightful presentations on the power of fear and how to harness it for personal and professional growth. His talks inspire audiences to embrace fear as a tool for transformation.
Dexter is a passionate writer currently working on two major projects: a book about fear as well as a memoir. His writings delve into the intricate dynamics of fear and offer practical advice for working with it. Stay tuned for the release of these works.
Dexter resides in Los Angeles, often exploring the neighboring wilderness of Southern California.
