What’s Next? Moving Beyond DEI 101 - Online Classroom

Online webinar with Bam Mendiola on how we can collectively answer the question, "What's Next?" and move beyond DEI 101. Part of the Leadership Development Series.

  • Casual

6:00-8:00pm PST via Zoom Meeting
Meeting link will be sent to registered attendees the day of the session.

Do you feel like we’ve been collectively stuck in DEI 101 for the past 10 years? This workshop builds on introductory DEI concepts and is designed for people of color and our actively anti-racist allies. We will reflect on ways to interrupt our internalized racism, misogyny, and ableism. We will also explore the role that shame, guilt, and fragility play in our un-learning. Let’s collectively answer the question, “What’s next?”.

Seminar Notes

This presentation will be primarily lecture-based but will also have opportunities to engage throughout.  Please come ready to engage with honest self-reflection and kind communication.
