Fall scramble to Tolmie and Howard Peaks on the NW side of Mt. Rainier National Park. Hoping for views of Mt. Rainier and fall colors.

This is just off of SR-410.

Exploratory trip to two peaks.  I've been up to Tolmie Peak Lookout already.   From Mowich Lake, we'll hike up to Tolmie Peak Lookout, then head along the ridge to the true peak.  We'll then head over to Howard Peak before returning to Mowich Lake.

 Pace will be moderate... fast enough to keep the heart pumping, slow enough where we can converse... usually this is around 1,000 ft/hr.  Hourly break for snacks and quick breaks for photos.
