  • We'll follow FR 49, passing along Kachess Lake and above the Kachess campground area, and continue to FR4930 which parallels Box Canyon Creek. At 3.75 miles our lunch stop will be at a viewpoint above a waterfall. After lunch, we’ll return to the trailhead by passing through the area of the campground, cabins and boat launch. In previous years, in this area there’s been an easy stream crossing.
  • Except for the route up Box Canyon Creek and through the campground area, this route is shared with snow mobiles.
