Meeting 8:30 am at Blewett Pass.
From Seattle to Blewett Pass is about 120 miles, 2+ hours driving.
Some confusion on my part posting this trip. Initially posted for Sunday. I was thinking Saturday, and updated the trip. It seems Sunday was a better choice, so I have re-set the date to Sunday March 21st.
The plan will be enjoy a route along the ridge from Blewett Pass, and through the trees looking for picturesque views of snow covered peaks, rather than the more traveled logging road (that is typically a concrete highway). The trip elevation is expected to reflect the more venturesome route following the ridges undulations, at about 1100 ft.
A Sno-park pass is required for this trailhead.
As the route is has minimal avalanche terrain, we will cancel if there are issues with traveling over the pass, or a significant weather event that would affect safety, and having a great snowshoe!
