Leader's notes

An early season snowshoe trip to warm up and make sure we have the gear/mindset to be safe. We will work our way up to Nisqually Vista for lunch, (possible explore area?) and return. I will have an alternate trip at lower elevation in mind in case of extreme weather so there will be 'exercise'. Youth (under 18) allowed with parent/guardian.

Meeting place and time

We will meet at the Puyallup/South Hill park n ride, Hwy 512 and 94th Ave. E., at 7:00 AM. We will make up car pools and caravan to Mt. Rainier NP. Entrance Fee required. Tire chains must be carried in vehicle.(even 4wd & traction tires!). I will be driving a dark-ish red Toyota Tundra (4wd drive, traction tires, and yes, tire chains.) Crew cab and canopy for ID.
