Day Hike - Indian Henry's Hunting Ground

Fall trip to Indian Henry's. If time/weather/conditions allow, we will continue to Mirror Lake and explore towards Pyramid peak.

Pace: 2.0 mph on average, slower on the steeper parts, faster on the downhill/flat/easier parts

Leader's notes

Early start to maximize daylight during this time of year.

My goals for this trip are as follows:

1. Be safe.

2. Make it to IHHG and Mirror Lake and if time allows, explore the trail out towards Pyramid Peak.

3. Learn something.

My expectations for trip participants are:

1. Practice Leave No Trace principles.

2. Have the physical conditioning for this trip. Expect 13-14 miles and a 2.0 mph on average pace.

3. Have the necessary gear for shoulder season hiking (depending on weather, extra warm clothes, etc).

4. Be ok with possible mud, rain, snow and colder temps (it is shoulder season...)
