Starting at Marina Park we will walk along the shoreline as close as we can be traveling through public pathways and parks. We'll continue on trails paralleling Hwy 520 into a bird sanctuary and down to historic Yarrow Point. Crossing under Hwy 520, we make our way to Medina City Hall Park for a waterfront lunch. The journey after lunch will take us through Medina Park, along Lake Washington Blvd., and into an historic part of downtown Bellevue ending at the Transit Center.
Reminder: This is a one way hike, thus taking public transportation is highly advised. Metro Trip Planner, Google Maps, and One Bus Away are all good sources of planning for this hike.
Be sure to pack a lunch or bring money. We will pass by Medina Market on the way to lunch. Bring plenty of water and an ORCA Card or bus fare.
