Day Hike - Paradise Area Trails

Wildflowers! We'll stay off of the mobbed, paved trails, and see the Paradise sub-alpine and alpine wildflowers (from 5350'-7050'). The route can be found in the leader notes.

  • Pace: 1.5-2.0 while hiking, not counting time to take it all in, no maximum (must stop at trail junctions and every 1/2 hour)

8:00 AM at the 4th Crossing trail head, the parking lot about 1/2 mile past (north of) Paradise on the Valley Road, it is on the south side of the road (right  side).

Carpooling will be self-organized, participant info will be sent out the Wednesday before the hike.

We will be in the sun and above 6000' most of the day.  We will travel clockwise on the route below.
