Day Hike - Teneriffe to Talus Loop
This is NOT a hike up to the top of Teneriffe. It is a mellow hike starting at the Teneriffe TH and using the lovely new crossover trail system to and around Talus Loop and back.

The plan is to start at the new Teneriffe TH, and head west on the new Roaring Creek trail to where it intersects the Mt Si trail and up and around the Talus Loop back to Roaring Creek and out. We may adjust along the way but will not make it longer or harder. We will be taking a moderate pace ( about 2 mph when moving) but will take plenty of short breaks as well as one longer lunch break if weather is decent. Be sure you have rain gear.
There may be snow on parts of the trail but should not be deep. Be sure you have boots and if you use them, your poles. Yak traks or similar may be useful but are not required.
Meet at the new, large Mt Teneriffe TH parking lot on Mt Si Road at 0945. This is about 1/2 mile or so past the Mt Si parking lot. There are vault toilets there. We'll plan to start hiking at 10:00. This is a leisurely start but it's a short route. Look for my dark grey Toyota Rav 4.
