Day Hike - Tiger Mountain Lowlands
Enjoy a 5 mile loop hike with 1,000ft gain on trails on the lower slopes below West Tiger 3 that takes in mountain caves, two beautiful small lakes and the shell of an old bus.

8:30 am Tradition Lake Interpretive Shelter close by High Point Trailhead, I-90 exit 20.

Starting from the High Point Interpretative Shelter at 500ft we will take the West Tiger Trail south up to the Talus Rock Trail at 1,140ft. We will see some interesting rocks and caves before taking the Section Line and Adventure Trails back down to the north. We will return to the interpretive Shelter by the Wetlands and Bus Trails passing both Round and Tradition Lakes to complete our 5 mile half day hike.
I plan that we will hike at an moderate average moving speed of 2mph. We will have several short stops along the way for snacks and water.
COVID PRECAUTIONS: We will comply with all State and Mountaineers COVID 19 precautions that apply on the date of this trip.
Participants who are not fully vaccinated (Pfizer & Moderna two shots + 2 weeks or J&J one shot + 2 weeks) are expected to wear a mask when we meetup and on the trail when it’s not possible to keep a minimum of 6 ft. distance from others. Please do not register if you are unwilling to meet this expectation.
