This is a scenic hike to Hope and Trap Lakes . We will hike the Tunnel Creek Trail to Hope Lake , then the PCT to Trap Lake .

We will meet at the trailhead , 8:00 am . Drive Hwy 2 East to Skykomish , then continue another 12 miles turning right onto Forest Road 6095 , located just after crossing the Tunnel Creek Bridge at a hairpin turn ( A word of caution , Rd 6095 is not marked , and if you miss it the next turn around is at Stevens Pass ) .Follow FR 6095 for 1.2 miles (avoiding side roads ) to a Y intersection . Bear left , coming to the trailhead in 0.1 mile. The parking is limited , and it is recommended carpooling . The road is rough in places , and slow driving is recommended .
