The annual tradition continues as we take in the awe and beauty of the Skagit as Bald Eagle mating season kicks off. We attempt to time this on opening day of the Bald Eagle Interpretive Center. Chili potluck afterwards.

Required Equipment
Minimum equipment for each participant
To reduce pack weight, minimum requirements are:
- Thermos and Hot drink
- Packraft
- Paddle
- PFD Class III or better
- Drysuit and layers
- Pogies or neoprene gloves
- Neoprene socks or thick wool socks
- Boat repair kit
Equipment may be shared, provided that everyone has required equipment when they are on the water.
Recommended Equipment
Where weight limits permit and as more time is spent on the water, parties may consider bringing:
- Spare paddle
- First Aid Kit
