Join us on this SK II+ 6.0 nm student paddle around Commencement Bay in Tacoma.  Everyone that goes on this paddle will be practicing wet exits and kayak rescues -- it will be fun!  We will plan on eating a picnic lunch at Dickman Mill Park before heading back.
Everyone must wear emersion wear (wet suit or dry suit.)  All kayaks must have flotation at both ends and must have static deck lines on the front and rear.  Be sure to bring your PFD and paddle float/pump.  You might want to bring a neoprene cap and goggles/nose plug. We will be going out with conditions of up to 12 kt winds and 1 foot waves. If conditions are too severe, the alternate site is Gig Harbor.
