Meet at Cornet Bay Marina parking lot near the Public Restroom. A Discover Pass is required to park in the Marina.
There will be a trip briefing at 8:50am followed by a 9:00am launch. Please arrive in time to be ready at 8:50am for the briefing.
This will be a current assisted paddle from Cornet Bay to Goat Island and back with rest stops along the way. At Goat Island we will eat lunch and explore (optional) Fort Whitman.
Please remember to carry all essential sea kayaking equipment for this paddle.
Dry suits are required.

Required Equipment
These eight essentials plus The Ten Essentials are required on all sea kayaking trips. All but the whistle and clothing should be provided with any kayak rental.
- Floatation in both ends of the kayak
- U.S. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD)
- Paddle
- Spray skirt
- Bilge pump with floatation
- Self-rescue paddle float
- Waterproof whistle
- Appropriate clothing for the conditions encountered seasonally
