- Route: The paddle will begin at Matts Matts Bay and depart through the scenic and narrow channel leading to Admiralty Inlet. We will then paddle south, staying near shore, between Colvos Rocks and Snake Rocks. We'll leisurely tour Port Ludlow Bay before stopping at Port Ludlow Marina for lunch.

We will meet at 10 am at the Matts Matts Bay boat launch and depart at 11:00 am. Parking is free of charge and port-a-potty facilities are available. Bring lunch and sufficient water for the day. Lunch will be at Port Ludlow Marina.
"Immersion wear" (wetsuit or drysuit) is required along with Mountaineers essentials and sea kayak essentials (listed below).
Paddlers returning via the Edmonds-Kingston ferry or to destinations in South Kitsap County may wish to join me for a post-paddle pizza or locally made Mexican fare at the Kingston Marina while we listen to jazz saxophonist, Jeff Kashlawa, sponsored by the Kingston Chamber of Commerce.

Required Equipment
These seven essentials plus The Ten Essentials are required on all sea kayaking trips. All but the whistle and clothing should be provided with any kayak rental.
- Floatation in both ends of the kayak
- U.S. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD)
- Paddle
- Spray skirt
- Bilge pump with floatation
- Self-rescue paddle float
- Waterproof whistle
- Immersion wear; dry suit or wetsuit
