Meet at Anacortes to walk onto the 10:40am Orcas Ferry. We will launch next at the orcas ferry landing.

We will launch from Orcas and paddle around the SW side of orcas island to Pt Doughty. There is a great campsite there on the bluff with some of the best sunset views I have seen.

On Sunday we will paddle over to and around Bare and skipjack island and along the west side of Waldron. Depending on time we may go around Skipjack also before heading back to either orcas or friday harbor, depending on timing and how the ferries are looking.

This trip has some pretty exposed waters and hard to predict currents and rarely visited areas, make sure you are ok with the trip before reaching out

We will need to bring water as camp does not have any. Orcas landing has a spot to fill, but it is a slow water fountain bottle filler, so better to just walk on with what you need.
