Work party days start at 9am at the Lodge and typically wrap up around 5pm. To receive Stewardship credit, we ask that you work at least 6 hours. Driving Directions to the Lodge.
If you'll be participating on both Saturday and Sunday, please register for the work party activity on each day (see the Meany Calendar for links). You are welcome to arrive anytime after 6pm on Friday night and stay through 6pm on Sunday.
Food is provided: Snacks on Friday night, Breakfast at 8am on Saturday and Sunday, Lunch at 12:30pm on Saturday and Sunday, and Dinner at 6pm on Saturday.
The activities vary by the weekend, and may include trail work, work on machinery like the rope tows, snow cats and snowmobiles, or improvements to the Lodge.
Please bring clothes that can get dirty and wet and layers that are appropriate for being outside in the mountains. We have most tools available at the Lodge, however, work gloves you bring will probably fit your hands better than the gloves we have at the Lodge.
You are welcome to arrive anytime after 6pm on Friday night and stay through 6pm on Sunday. We have ample camping spots (please bring a tent and sleeping pads and bags). You can also sleep in the Lodge in the shared bunk rooms (please bring sleeping bags, head lamps, pillow case, and overnight sundries).
Families are welcome - we can generally find appropriate jobs for anyone 5 and over. Meany is a great place for youth to learn they can take on responsibility and make meaningful contributions.
