Bald Knob & CCC Cabin
Snowshoe loop or out-and-back routes in Mount Spokane State Park from the Lower Selkirk Sno-Park. Most routes are easy, up to 6 miles and 700 feet of elevation gain, but there are options for those wanting a more challenging adventure.
getting there
Take Exit 287 off of I-90 just east of Spokane and drive north on N Argonne Rd continuing north as it becomes N Bruce Rd. Turn right onto SR-206 (N Mt Spokane Park Drive) and continue to the Lower Selkirk Sno-Park (4,500 ft).
snowshoe routes
Snowshoe trips can include some combination of the Bald Knob Picnic Area trail, the CCC Cabin Trail, and Trail 260 to out-and-back or make loops up to 6 miles and 700 feet of elevation gain. The more adventurous can head for the summit of Mount Spokane.
