Cabin Creek
Cabin Creek is an cross-country ski area with 8 miles of easy trails with no more than 200 feet of total elevation gain off of I-90 just east of Exit 62 and the Crystal Springs Sno-Park. The terrain is varied and the trails are groomed and are used for races four times a year.
getting there
Take Exit 63 off of I-90 and park at Cabin Creek Sno-Park on the south side of I-90 (2,475 ft).

Ski a loop or out-and-back trip on the network of trails from the Cabin Creek Sno-Park. Trails include South Loop, Berg Course, Viking Course, and The Road.

3 MILES ROUND TRIP wITH 100 feet of elevation gain, DIFFICULTY: G-XC1 Beginner groomed
A relatively flat green route along Forest Road 4826, suitable for beginners or a warm-up for the day.
VIKING LOOP
UP to 3.75 MILES ROUND TRIP wITH 400 feet of elevation gain, DIFFICULTY: G-XC2 advanced Beginner groomed
A one-way, blue loop with a variety of hills and curves. There are a number of shortcuts that can be used to shorten the distance. Distance and gain listed include the relevant portions of the Berg Loop.
BERG LOOP
up to 1.4 MILES ROUND TRIP wITH 100 feet of elevation gain, DIFFICULTY: G-XC2 advanced Beginner groomed
A short, one-way blue loop with several hills appropriate for advanced beginner skiers. Can be extended by taking the Viking Loop.
VIKING + ozbaldy loop
up to 4.4 MILES ROUND TRIP wITH 450 feet of elevation gain, DIFFICULTY: G-XC3 intermediate groomed
Mount Ozbaldy is 0.7 mi black route that branches off the Viking Loop. This route features a couple short steep hills followed by a final large curve before rejoining the Viking Loop. Distance and gain listed include the relevant portions of the Viking and Berg Loops.

- Dogs are prohibited on groomed ski trails at Cabin Creek north of I-90 and Mount Amabalis, per CCWRC and Washington State Parks guidelines.
