Cape Sutil
Cape Sutil
We will explore the area that Coast & Kayak voted the #2 kayaking destination of 2013. We will visit the orcas’ whale rubbing beach at Jepther Point, explore Goletas Channel and possibly peek around Cape Scott looking for humpback and gray whales, sea otters, seal lions and of course, seals before returning to Port Hardy. You must have multi day coastal kayaking camping experience and be comfortable in strong winds, fast currents, lumpy water, and ocean surf/swell. Immersion wear, preferably drysuit, required.
