Cross Kirkland Corridor Trail
The trail is on the site of the North Pacific Railroad grade used by the Dinner Train that ran between Renton and Woodinville for many years. The rails and ties have been removed and the trail is now a compacted crushed gravel surface.
on the trail
South of Totem Lake the trail is in woods until nearly reaching downtown Kirkland. Going north from Kirkland, the trail passes through a new Google recreation area and to an overlook of Lake Washington and the western shore. Visit the Cross Kirkland Corridor Trail website for a map and more info about the trail.
