Deer Lake & Bogachiel Peak
A moderate, 8 mile round trip hike with 1,600 feet of elevation gain to a very strenuous hike of 16 miles and 3,450 feet of elevation gain. The trail winds up Canyon Creek to Deer Lake with the possibility of continuing up towards Bogachiel Peak.

7.5 miles round trip, 1,600 feet of elevation gain, 3,550 ft high point
Travel through old growth forest past Sol Duc Falls, and right (south) along Canyon Creek, to the lovely subalpine setting of Deer Lake surrounded by meadow and conifers, wildflowers and huckleberries in season. Deer often visit lake.
Bogachiel Peak
up to 16 miles round trip, 3,450 feet of elevation gain, 5,474 ft high point
Continue on the High Divide Trail from Deer Lake towards Bogachiel Peak as far as you wish.
