on the trail
The Forbes Creek Stairs were built from old railroad ties. The stairs are located at the northern end of Crestwoods Park and can be accessed from Forbes Creek Drive where there is limited parking for half a dozen cars. The stairs can also be accessed on trails that connect to the popular Cross Kirkland Corridor Trail. The wooden stairs are sometimes slippery in the winter and some portions are slightly tilted so users should be careful.
