Frog Mountain
A moderate hike of 8 miles and 2,200 feet of elevation gain in the Central Cascade's Wild Sky Wilderness. It offers views of the Skykomish Valley from the summit as well as Glacier, Sloan, and Kyes Peaks.
Getting There
Drive SR-2 to 0.6 mile east of Skykomish, turn north onto Beckler River Road (Forest Road 65), and drive 13 miles to the large parking area at Jack Pass (2,580 ft).
On the Trail
Hike up switchbacks from Jack Pass to the summit of Frog Mountain and enjoy the views.
Notes
- Built with the help of many WTA (Washington Trails Association) work parties in 2019 and 2020, the Frog Mountain Trail is the newest trail on the Skykomish Ranger District.
