Grass Lake Nature Reserve
The lakes on this urban Olympia trail are actually two fresh water marshes. It is an ideal area for bird watching and sighting small mammals and amphibians.
GETTING THERE
From US 101 take the Evergreen Parkway exit onto Mud Bay Road and turn right. Proceed for 0.5 mile and turn left onto Kaiser Rd NW. From downtown Olympia, head west on Harrison Ave NW and turn right onto Kaiser Rd NW. Drive 0.4 mile to a small parking area.
