Walk or bike from the Guemes Island ferry dock to the trailhead on the southeast corner of the island by any your choice of the streets and roads that lead to the trailhead (about 3 min one-way).
Hike the 1.2 mi and 550 ft elevation gain trail up to Guemes Mountain that was built by Washington Trails Association. This trail is in the Guemes Mountain Conservation Area, a 70-acre protected land created by a partnership between Skagit Land Trust, San Juan Preservation Trust, and the residents of Guemes Island.
