Gunn Peak
Scramble Gunn Peak itself and/or any of its very near neighbors, Gunnshy, Wing or Tailgunner. These are all very challenging scrambles in the Wild Sky Wilderness.
getting there
From US-2 in Baring, turn north onto 635th Pl NE and then left onto Forest Road 6024. Continue to the road's end (2,300 ft).
approach & ascent
Head up (roughly north) through steep forest and a bit of brush, then break out into the alpine zone near these four peaks:
- Gunn Peak
- Gunnshy Peak
- Tailgunner Peak
- Wing Peak
