Judkins Park is often as a place to go through to get to the I-90 Trail. There are six block of green space that runs parallel to 23rd Ave, and Sam Smith Park, which sits over the I-90 tunnel and adjoins the Northwest African American Museum. Residences near the park are mostly older single family homes and a few newer apartment buildings and town homes.The parks sports picnic areas, a shelter, play and sports areas with wide grass fields, a skatespot, a spraypark, basketball courts, multi-use courts, and a lookout area with benches.
