Kalaloch Beach
Enjoy year 'round beach hiking and backpacking on up to 21 miles on the Olympic Coast's six numbered beaches north and south of Kalaloch Lodge and Campground.

Drive US-101 to Kalaloch Lodge, Campground, and Ranger Station.

Kalaloch Beach is comprised of six number beaches. South of Kalaloch Campground are Beaches 1 and 2 which allow up to 6 miles of round trip hiking. North of the campground are Beaches 3 through 6 which allow for up 15.4 miles of round trip hiking. One common day hike north of the campground is to Browns Point, 4 miles round trip.
notes
- Kalaloch Creek crosses the beginning of the trail with varying water levels, especially during spring. Consider wearing well sealed boots and bringing a spare pair of shoes to change into after the hike.
- Check the tide tables, especially if you plan to round Browns Point.

- If you are scheduling this as a non-stewardship related activity, please limit your group size to the recommended party size. The maximum party size is for use by stewardship trips only, and includes both participants and leaders. Group size maximums do not reflect how stewardship trips are run (in smaller groups of participants and leaders), but allow for leaders to register the activity in our system.
