Kelcema Lake
Lower Deer Creek Road off the Mountain Loop Highway is a popular winter play area. Continuing up Deer Creek Road to Kalcema Lake is a great snowshoe tour. Adding Bald Mountain makes for a great winter scramble or ski tour.

From Granite Falls drive east on the Mountain Loop Highway to Deer Creek Creek Rd, just before the winter road closure gate (1,575 ft).
