Lake George
Lake George is a moderate 4.6 mi, 1400' hike, mostly along the West Side Road. Location is a Park campsite, and it affords access to Gobbler's Knob forest fire lookout with views of Mt. Rainier and to the Wonderland Trail through the South Puyallup Trail.
The lake is secluded with no views of the Mountain, but it is a nice campsite, and a great place to stay after visiting Gobbler's Knob. It can be cold at night.
