Little Bald Mountain
A moderately strenuous hike of 12.6 miles with 2,200 feet of elevation gain. This hike has a plethora of pretty spring wildflowers and views galore. On a clear day, there are views of the Stuart Range, Glacier Peak, Mount Daniels, and Snoqualmie area peaks, Mount Aix, Mount Rainier, American Ridge, and the Goat Rocks.
getting there
Drive SR 410 to 22 miles east of Chinook Pass and turn south onto Forest Road 1709. In 0.3 mile, Just after crossing the Bumping River, turn left onto Forest Road 1704 (Old River Road). Continue ~1 mile to Halfway Flat Campground (2,450 ft). The trailhead is ~200 feet south of the campground.
