McClure Rock
A fairly easy snow scramble from Paradise, about 3 miles each way with 2000 feet of elevation gain. Views are excellent, but much of the route will be shared with many hikers, skiers, and snowboarders.
Follow the main path past Alta Vista, Glacier Vista, and Panorama Point. Continue toward Camp Muir to 7000 or 7100 feet, and take snow slopes to McClure Rock. Depending on snow conditions there may be a little rock scramble at the end. Very few of the crowds who start from Paradise go to McClure Rock.
