Mineral Mountain
A moderate scramble with a long approach, 25 miles and 5,500 feet of elevation gain, to a lesser-known peak on the north side of Mount Rainier.
Notes
- The Carbon River Road washout adds a 5.5 mile (one-way) road walk or bike to the beginning of the trip. With a bike, this peak could be a long day trip, otherwise two days is preferred.
- Camping at the popular Mystic Lake site is also possible.
