Naches Trail
This snowshoe trail runs between the Greenwater trailhead and Naches Pass. It intersects the PCT at the Mike Urich hut and passes along Government Meadow.
Getting there
From the town of Greenwater, continue past the fire station to FR 70. Take a left onto FR 70 and follow the road to the Greenwater Trailhead, also called the Greenwater 2 Sno-Park in the winter. Alternately, you can park in the Pyramid Creek Sno-Park, then walk along a groomed road to the trail. A sno-park pass is required.
On the trail
This trail runs between the Greenwater Trailhead and Naches Pass. Along the way, it traverses the ridgetop with views of Pyramid Peak to the north and Rainier to the south. It hosted a couple of settler parties in the 1850s.
